I once considered an old painted cinderblock apartment as a cheaper alternative to my apartment at the time, but it didn't have all the amenities I was used to nor did I see it accommodating my nice furniture. Now that I do not have those amenities nor that beautiful furniture and now that bombs and nuclear and war are daily words in the news, I am thinking about that old painted cinderblock.
