When going to the Maryland Science Center with the kids, there are a lot of interesting things to do.

We can learn about the human body. We did chemistry experiments. We saw some dinosaur skeletons. We even learned about the science behind farts.

But what did the kids (and I) really want to check out? The bed of nails.

Yes, there's a plaque that explains the science behind why it doesn't hurt as things are evenly distributed across your body...but, it's such a cool experience.

I’ve been doing physical therapy for several weeks now for a very old hip injury that’s coming back to haunt me. Just finished the session and decided to break out the eShakti mat to lay on while I surf the internet for a minute.
Well… it definitely does what it’s supposed to, but I’m also tempted to use it as a back scratcher.
