John Cumming, Church of Scotland minister, on story of Lazarus. The rich man committed the sin of not feeling the suffering of neighbor in the faith (else he wouldda done something).

It’s interesting that the two most poignant passages about hell, from Jesus’s own words, are also about neglect of one’s neighbor. My observation is that today, Left and Right agree to disagree … with this passage.
