Alfred Plummer, Anglican dean, advises on improving relationships between rich and poor. Don’t tell the rich they “must share” with the poor. Don’t tell the poor of a right to the rich’s wealth. He encourages showing by example that living for others is great.
Would cons’ve churches like this— that they must change? Would lib churches sit for any restraint on the poor?

It’s interesting that the two most poignant passages about hell, from Jesus’s own words, are also about neglect of one’s neighbor. My observation is that today, Left and Right agree to disagree … with this passage.
