Excellent #ReithLecture on #FreedomOfSpeech by #ChimamandaNgoziAdichie. Great that people like #Chimamanda are retrieving this issue from 'free-speech warriors' on the Right but also a lesson for those on the Left tempted into #tribal self-censorship.

Otra mini-#reseña de #libro: "Sobre el peligro de los tópicos" de #Chimamanda #Ngozi #Adichie. (realmente describe mejor el contenido el otro título: "el peligro de la historia única").

Muy recomendable: corto, fácil de leer, y con un mensaje importante. Aporta un punto de vista que a mí al menos me resultó novedoso sobre #tópicos y #prejuicios, desde el punto de vista de las #historias. Quién cuenta las historias y cómo modelan nuestro punto de vista sobre la gente, y especialmente sobre la gente de la que se cuentan pocas historias, o poco variadas. Según Adichie el problema de los tópicos no es tanto que sean falsos como que son incompletos, y eso deshumaniza a las personas e imposibilita relaciones humanas reales.
