9%! 16% so close now! but I also need silver so...soon gonna queue for ....read at the top of this post.

Pie is out. It's a chicken pie.
And I'm just realizing I gave it a beard but not a comb, so it may be a species new to science. Also it's a bit of a lean bird, bordering on pigeon I think.
More pie for the freezer.
I used about half of the mushrooms that were part of today's vegetable delivery.
For the rest, it's a basic pastry dough (I still had in the fridge) and a roux type filling, with egg yolks, cheese, chicken and those mushrooms.
The leftover filling is already in the freezer and will be enough for a next medium-size pie.

Staring at some ingredients trying to decide if I'm going a #chickenPie or a #chickenStew.
I like #pastry a lot, but it's a bit more work.
I could do dumplings in the stew pretty easily. But pastry, that's tasty stuff.
