Since I won't really be able to hunt for work for the rest of the year, I'm thinking of working on the web frontend for #LiSE, and turn it into a #django module, rather than the current situation where it's a #cherryPy "app"

Are there best practices, or maybe even frameworks similar to the #djangoRestFramework, that would show me how to make LiSE produce its #messagepack for easy consumption by browsers or whatever?

CherryPy allows developers to build web applications in much the same way they would build any other object-oriented Python program. This results in smaller source code developed in less time.

CherryPy is now more than ten years old and it is has proven to be very fast and stable. It is being used in production by many sites, from the simplest to the most demanding.

Really enjoying working with #cherrypy, think it may even replace my former love for using Flask
@adamchainz You're comment about the standard library literally made me LOL. Of course, you're right, but sometimes I just have that nagging feeling that I don't so much "bloat" in my environment. OCD isn't rational. Anyway, I'm not running off to #Flask or #Cherrypy because I've been using Django since 2008, and genuinely love it.
@lookbeavers thanks :) - Seems you use #cherrypy and use #borg backup... this ought to get interesting... (I use cherrypy a lot, but don't see much love for it online)
