My Castle Grayskull trap door rug door mat arrived today and it's cool! It's based on the original vintage artwork (not the restyled Origins version) that was also used in Masters of the Universe: Revelation/Revolution and looks great.

Happy 40th Anniversary, She-Ra!

The He-Man/She-Ra animated movie Secret of the Sword debuted in cinemas 40 years ago today. In the US anyways. It wasn't released in UK cinemas until March 13th 1987 (same year as the live action MotU movie in December) And I remember seeing it on the big screen then. It was also released in episodic form as the first five episodes of She-Ra's cartoon series.

He-Ro of Grayskull

In Revelation's universe He-Ro is one of the sons of King Grayskull. The King hands the Power Sword to He-Ro in issue 1 of the Revelation comic mini-series. Which I prefer over He-Ro's huge unwieldy magical staff so I display him with a spare Power Sword too. I had painted He-Ro's armor in gold paint a couple years ago but I scrubbed it off this past weekend cos I felt like it.
