'Chinese spy car'? You know how much info US car companies know about your daily travels and controls your vehicle?
'Chinese government involvement'? You know how much money provinces and Feds have invested in foreign (mostly US) car companies in Canada? Usually to have it crash and burn.

No one surprises their loved ones with a huge purchase like that for Christmas....or Hannukah, Kwanzaa, St. Lucia Day, St. Nicolas Day, Saturnalia, or any of those other December holidays. Calm down.
