No one surprises their loved ones with a huge purchase like that for Christmas....or Hannukah, Kwanzaa, St. Lucia Day, St. Nicolas Day, Saturnalia, or any of those other December holidays. Calm down. Stop being so thirsty. Take a break from sales.
