#cooking #canningandpreserving The morning's work. I'm not canning either the cashew milk or the oatmeal. It's my week's breakfast. I scoop out the a dollop of oatmeal, add whatever fruit I've reduced, applesauce, berries or the like, add a splash of the cashew milk and heat. Breakfast quick and easy. The cashew milk last longer than dairy which is the reason I use it.

Not enough to can but enough to enjoy. When I got a cover drafted early for that non-fiction book drafted before breakfast thought scrambled and compote over a scone sounded like a great treat.
