My premise is: how would #pots for #cactii be if they were invented today with everything we know about the best conditions for their development? Those small feet will provide better air circulation.

The Greenthumb family had a history of being gardeners. That was until Notso Greenthumb came along. Notso hated thorns and since most of the Greenthumb family business involved cacti, well, Notso wasn't having anything to do with the family business. Understandably, the family was crushed with Notso's decision.

🇵🇸Beginnend overzicht van de cactusfamilie (Cactaceae)
Het woord cactus (en de familienaam Cactaceae) zijn afgeleid van het Griekse káktos, dat ‘kardoen’ betekent. Kardoen is een distel-achtige plant die weliswaar stekelig is, maar niet verwant is aan de cactussen.
Er bestaan tussen de 1500 en 1900 soorten cactussen, allemaal afkomstig uit Amerika.
Op één soort na, die al duizenden jaren in Afrika voorkomt. Waarschijnlijk doordat zaden met trekkende vogels zijn meegekomen.
In de Oude Wereld bestaan diverse planten met stekels die sterk op cactussen lijken. Die missen echter de kenmerkende areolen (de viltige plekjes waar de doornen zijn ingeplant).
