My local transit provider has boosted service on the bus nearest my house to 30 minute headways (weekdays only) β€” better than hourly, but still less convenient than biking, for most of my trips.

Except I've got an injured arm, so I'm busing rather than walking 5 miles. Buses aren't bad, just slow.

#Columbus folks, any idea why High Street is closed between Lane and 18th? #COTAbus

The #TransitApp is great, especially with fare integration and capping, but it can't patch holes in unreliable data from transit operators. If the buses' live data is old; they don't show up for trip planning.

#COTAbus now shows the Weber Road stops in their ArcGIS maps and their first-party trip-planning software at ride.cota.com! Next up is Google and Apple Maps; I'm told that Google Maps might take _a week_ to update.

Partial success! #COTAbus has marked bus stops on Weber Road for lines 31 and 11 in the Transit App! These stops have been missing since they went into service in June 2022

Just not yet on Google Maps, Apple Maps, ride.cota.com, or any other map. :/

Time to draft a formal letter on behalf of my Area Commission requesting that #COTAbus add the North Linden stops on Weber Road back to their GTFS feeds, maps, and apps.

Why? Because I have the power to request that my fellow commissioners cosign a formal letter.
