gerlfren's cable modem keeps dumping its dhcp lease so everything ipv4 stops working; ipv6 still works (no dhcp after all) so i whipped her up a quick hot vpn endpoint to my gear but like jesus #cogeco she's been through three different modems; this is clearly your firmware mods

So Cogeco #cogeco has a huge outage in Burlington Ontario #burlON. They posted on their website that it is a fibre cut. Since about 2am this morning. This photo from Cogeco shows vandalism. Many hours to splice and repair. So we have no internet, home phone or TV. I have to go visit my Mom who is in home palliative care with no phone now for PSW’s or emergency calls. #outage Anyone else out there struggling?
