While Trump and his billionaire friends dismantle our government for their own personal gain, CD-8 Congressman Abe Hamadeh has been hiding from constituents behind closed-door events with donors and MAGA voters. For months, concerned constituents across CD-8 have asked Rep. Abe Hamadeh to hold a public town hall and listen to the concerns of the people he was elected to represent. Instead, we’ve been met with silence — and even threats of arrest. When we demonstrated peacefully outside his office, his staff had a senior adult woman’s car towed. When our numbers grew, Hamadeh coordinated with GOP counter-protestors to obstruct our access to a public sidewalk. It’s clear: Hamadeh answers to Trump, not to us.

Trump's immigration surge ripples across a swing House district in Colorado

President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown in Minnesota is rattling voters in a highly competitive swing district in northern Colorado. Some Trump supporters are unnerved by the raids and the fatal shootings of two U.S. citizens by immigration agents. While other Trump voters also regret those deaths, they say the enforcement should continue. The district's congressman is Republican Gabe Evans, and the former police officer who's a Mexican American says many of the problems in Minnesota are due to Democrats inflaming the situation. Still, he's urging the administration to focus more on criminals in its immigration operations. Democrats are targeting Evans' district in November's midterm elections.

a huge increase in a distinct type of T-cell called double-positive T-cell (CD4+ CD8+) in people with ME/CFS and/or long COVID. Instead of being differentiated into the two usual major T-cell subsets CD4 (helper/regulatory) and CD8 (killer) T-cells, these hybrid T-cells look like both CD4 and CD8 T-cells at the same time.

Selin found that these cells increased 8-9 fold in ME/CFS and long-COVID patients.

which compensates in part for the lower perforin, but also led to

a “highly dysregulated” cytotoxic T-cell immune response [...] That suggested that the immune system was kind of flailing around, trying to come up with an answer.
