OBJ file visualization is back ! ✨
Some months ago we improved our platform with a custom CAD compression algorithm and we had to disable OBJ.
The format is now enabled back, and in the next steps we will improve the tree navigation, to support, assemblies, groups, and surface detection.
Ever wished the CAD files you view could become real, physical parts? ✨
Now they can — with a new option to order them directly from PCBWay 🛠️
On tablets and desktop devices, look for a new dialog in the top-right corner of our viewer ↗️ — it’s your shortcut to visiting PCBWay or starting an order.
Note: PCBWay is located in China 🇨🇳. Ordering requires sending your CAD file. Please read the “Information” button in the dialog for details.

We regret to inform our community that the fundraising campaign to purchase the AutoCAD (*.dxf) format was not successful. Despite the announcement, only 15€ were received. As a result, we will not be acquiring the OpenCascade plugin at this time.
