I was so excited because It's clearly inspired by #BulletWitch on the Xbox 360 and that's one of my favorite games of all time.
This game ain't it though. LOL. It's heart is in the right place but its controls are not. If they can get the controls and the character rotation sorted this could end up being a solid title but it's not quite there yet.
Yesterday's RoseHad to do a bit of compatibility jank and manual repair of legacy PhysX stuff, but it worked! Yay!
Watching the intro of #BulletWitch is kind of fun. The game is set in distant future year 2013! Where people witnessed a new war in the middle east (My thought: "...do you have any idea how little that narrows it down?") and the world was ravaged by a homicidal virus ("...well actually, it ended up being a lot worse than a zombie outbreak").
Problem with #Halloween tradition!
I usually play #BulletWitch (#Xbox360) every Halloween. ...now, *none* of my #Xbox 360 controllers I have at hand are starting up! Not sure if it's a problem with the controllers or the battery holders or what. And they have proprietary USB plugs on controller end, and Xbox One/Series controllers aren't compatible with 360, so urgh.
Don't really have the brainpower to fix this today. Guess I'll play the PC #Steam version then! Hope it works, never tested it!

Why the hell has it taken me 5 years to discover that #BulletWitch was ported to the PC back in 2018?
I am aware that most people and gaming publications detested this game, but it is easily one of my favorite games of all time.
I love the story, the characters, the soundtrack and especially the gameplay and controls. Then top it off with some RPG elements and I'm in heaven.
Other than the cutscenes it plays perfectly on the #SteamDeck.
