I wish there was more of an open sandbox version, but I'm assuming you'd just never leave the island, especially once you close the small portals.

Fast forward a few months, and here we are around Christmas of 2019, trying out a game I had at this point only heard of, called #Kingdom, which is a 2D side-scrolling tower defense game. These were quite fun, actually! I've even picked them back up here and there on my #SteamDeck recently, they're such gorgeous games!

Just played Kingdom: New Lands. Not recommended.

Wow, I love having to replay the same content multiple times because the game is intentionally cryptic and doesn't explain its systems. Confusion isn't a substitute for difficulty, it's just a waste of time.
