Wer auch immer bei #Atlassian auf die glorreiche Idee kam, #BrightMode / #WhiteMode zu standardtisieren statt "Browser-Präferenz" sollte zur Strafe jeden Morgen mit einer #Blendgranate geweckt werden bis jene Person dies bei allen umkehrt!

Conclusion: Websites should have a simple toggle/button to switch to customize it.
Longterm solution: Generate a "Public Cookie" that tells Websites which version (bright/dark) one prefers.
Workaround: #DarkReader can also be configured to force #BrightMode instead of #DarkMode onto a Website...
@alexadeswift @georgetakei there's are reasons #screens started getting used in "#DarkMode" and why only on #paper and #transflective settings "#BrightMode" makes sense.
IOW there are reasons we illuminate letters and not the entire house wall at night...
You use "night mode" because you want to look cool and edgy.
I use dark mode because white text on dark is the ergonomically superior design and I don't want my eyes to get degraded by white/bright mode...
