Time for a #cupoftea before I give a talk at @G4SKM about the #RSGB #Brickworks scheme.
Gateside bricks in the Western Necropolis in the Lambhill area of Glasgow. These were made in the
Gateside Brickworks in Cambuslang, which opened in 1899. In 1963, there were six brickworks in this area (Barbauchlaw, Blantyreferme, Newton, Northfield and Gateside) producing 54.5 million bricks per year.
The kiln building at the #Brickworks in #Toronto in 2014. Since then the floor has been raised to accomadate a #geothermal heating system.

It’s a good year for #orchids. This is the first #pyramidal #orchid to #flower on the #brickworks at #WWTCastleEspie for a few years.
