These #OlympicGames were a bad joke from the start. If the #IOC wishes to become irrelevant it should continue to court #humanrights violators and #authoritarian rulers.

#China's #CCP is going into utter #propaganda overdrive at the Games.
Denying any #humanrights violations in #Xinjiang and insisting that #Taiwan is a part of China, but then stating that you are against the politicising of sports.

Enough already! The #CCP is made up of unbearable ghouls. And under its rule, China is a threat to peace and stability in #FarEast.

#megalomania - #XiJinping is not the first #dictator to suffer from this. But seriously, this banquet table where Xi gathered a selection of authoritarian rulers and bootlickers is beyond ridiculous.
This is how #China is trying to impress the world. Pretty childish and somehow an indicator for a lack of self-#confidence. What are they trying to compensate for, I ask myself?

You may all know that #TaiwanisnotChina.
But #Taiwan is also not "Chinese Taipei", which is the name the spineless #IOC forces it to compete under in order to appease the #CCP regime.
Many of Taiwan's Olympic athletes do not live in Taipei. And not all of them are ethnically Chinese. So the name "Chinese Taipei" is utter nonsense.

Let Taiwan be Taiwan!
And yes: #BoycottBeijing2022.

When the talk of a diplomatic boycott of the Olympic games first came up, the spokesperson of #China's foreign ministry #HuaChunying hissed that the event would be "by invitation only" anyway, indicating that the #UnitedStates would not be welcome.

Now it's official: these games will indeed be by invitation only for spectators. What a way to ruin a global festival of athletics.

China's #CCP once again ruining things for all and everyone. Thanks for nothing, you scumbags.
