@spacemagick Absolutely agree. Smart speakers throughout the house are playing #BoomRadioUK from 9am to about 8pm everyday! And I’m only 61.

I've recently discovered Boom Radio UK. This is definitely the best fogy station I've come across for some time, with a pleasant sprinkling of DJs you probably thought were long ago consigned to the granny annex.

One of the few things I've been thankful of this year, is discovering Boom Radio UK.

I came across it, around last June. No idea how or why.

Their playlist is predominantly "easy", but it's weirdly eclectic.

It's aimed at the 50+ audience. Lots of very old music, but the odd new track now-and-then.

In some ways it's more "alternative" than a station like BBC 6Music. Yesterday afternoon, they played Doris Day, Rainbow, and Kraftwerk. I loved it all.
