Shadow of the Dragon by Marc Cameron — An Audiobook Review

Book 20 in the Tom Clancy/Jack Ryan Universe

Stopped at the library to exchange books on my way home today. Returned "24 Hours at the Capitol: an Oral History of the January 6th Insurrection" by Nora Neus, "A Dream Deferred: Jesse Jackson and the Fight for Black Political Power" by Abby Philip, and "Devotions: Selected Poems" by Mary Oliver. Came home with "Hallelujah Anyway: Rediscovering Mercy" by Anne Lamott and "Neither Snow Nor Rain: A History of the United States Postal Service" by Devin Leonard. Also checked out the audiobook of "Watership Down" by Richard Adams, read by Peter Capaldi. Yeah, I have eclectic interests in books.

If you like anthologies about a city, then "The Last Bungalow" is for you. This book is a collection of writings about Allahabad, now called Prayagraj, in India.

Quick book question/rumination:

Should I try to restrict myself to only recommending single books? If a book is part of a series, should I try to break each one out so as to stretch out my recommendations (even *I* will start running low eventually), or just recommend the whole series and be done with it?

And what about authors? It would be hard to recommend just one book by Cordwainer Smith, for example, but it would also feel weird to recommend everything he's done at one go.

...okay, writing this down made it clearer in my mind. I'll handle it on a case-by-case basis and let the chips fall where they may!
