1. Eye appointment recheck yesterday showed no retinal tear or detachment!
2. Finishing up my packing for an extended time away from home while I take care of my dad’s and brother’s estates.
3. Soaking up all the affection from my heart cat, Girlie, before I leave. It’s too bad she dislikes car rides and strange places or I’d take her with me.

Sigh. I have *yet another* black angular spider-creature.

(Circumstantial evidence she is half-sister to Amber.)

She's also discovered her voice, and that voice is GROWL.

Today is the 13th anniversary of when I first met Penguin. At one of the animals shelters satellite locations, facing away from the kitties while my sister went to ask permission to play with them. My finger was dangling near the cages when Penguin boldly walked up and chomped on my finger! Knew instantly she was the one.
