I woke up curled like a prawn, my freshly healed neck scrunched up wrongly and hurting again.
Then Willow launched herself at my shoulders, banging into MY SORE NECK like a cannon ball..

Day 2 of what the freaky heck did I do to my neck..

We found a European Mole Cricket (freshly emerged) on our walk yesterday. Very big one.
(Lusha is no longer interested as I herd this guy towards the verge /away from traffic)

Most of them have wooden footbridges, or the traditional ones made from giant chunky rocks balanced on other rocks.
(Or the "livestock wall that's also a bridge" variant. Super-fun to tiptoe across without losing balance 😅)
The Horrors may persist, but today I got to walk the dog in sunshine and (light) 🌨️🌦️ snow showers.

Certain politicians and most of the private media in the UK keep talking about how a green transition is impossible and yet, as far as the national grid is concerned, it's basically already happened and nobody has noticed.
I am extremely tired and still buried under a mountain of Ridiculousness and Things.
The things keep thinging.

Few days ago when it was sunny, humid and un-March like temperatures.. the smaller trees are now bursting into leaf. There are enough bloody mosquitoes for June already.
Today was *forecast* to snow all day.
Instead we're getting the Everything Special - ferocious wind, rain, hail, sun and possibly thunderstorms later 😒
