Good morning everyone ☀️ Long lie for me today as Grant got up for the parrots. I did try to lie in longer to allow him to sleep on the couch, but Ziggy had other ideas, starting a screech fest which the other two joined in with heartily, so everyone was forced to get up 🥴 I guess she just thought it was past time somebody paid attention to her. I have to go back to work next week and it's going to take some effort to make her realise that I won't be at her beck and call any longer. I was working in the next room downstairs before, but I will need to work upstairs for a while as every time I try to have a phone call now - even though they can't hear the other end of the conversation - they raise the roof. Won't go down well in work calls I imagine 😅

I did end up crocheting yesterday, but it knackered me out, so going out with my daughter for a leisurely lunch today.

Good morning you lovely lot 💕 I'm up early with the parrots today and Ziggy loves me. I know this, because she has yelled "I love you!" at me in her sweet little voice about twenty times already this morning. I love her too 🥰 Whenever I feel the weight of the last few weeks bearing down one me, there is Ziggy to lighten my load and make me smile. She's a genuine angel. 😍

I should really crochet today as I need to finish off the custom order I'm working on to post early next week, and I also need to get on with the competition toy, but I'm really low on spoons today so I'll see how it goes. Might end up just watching something or playing Stardew Valley on my Switch. That little game has been a gentle godsend over the last wee while. I have it on PC, but I bought it for the Switch to travel by train and it's the best £10 odd I have ever spent 😊

Good morning everyone 🌻 I'm up later today as Grant is going birding and I was just totally exhausted by the end of yesterday. The parrots were so quiet this morning that I actually checked to see if Grant has overslept. I went back to sleep and dreamt we were trying to take them to the vet, but every time we got ready yet another bird was found and we had to dash around trying to find travel cages. Eventually we were just too overwhelmed so I phoned to say we'd have to reschedule, but the vet said they had to move to Aldershot due to the Seasonal Striders. I then looked and over the bridge three huge giants, about twenty feet tall, came striding. That's when I woke up 😊

Off to the vet later to pick up Ziggy's medicine, but probably some crochet before that.
