I saw a performance of #LaCage at the #TheaterRhinocerous in #TheCastro yesterday.

It was my 1st time visiting this "theater" which is incredibly small My guest & I sat in the 1st row of 2 & the performers were in our faces.

it was a very entertaining performance but unfortunately the run is already sold out. If you can find them, you can stream LaCage &/or #Birdcage or watch their DVDs instead.

BIRDCAGE is a hybrid across time. On one hand, it’s as flashy as the best of 1990s #shmup s, with jamming music, striking visuals, and frenetic action. No matter how crowded the arcade is, you’re going to notice it. But its design philosophy is like a modern #Soulsborne game. It’s hard, and you’re going to have to ”#GitGud”, but the game fundamentally wants you to succeed and is meticulously laying out challenges to teach you the way.

Mijn #kijktip voor tijdens het optuigen van de #kerstboom: The #Birdcage uit 1996 (https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0115685/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk)

Alles wat nu de overhand heeft in de USA wordt er subliem aan de kaak gesteld. Zeer passend gecast, met een hoofdrol voor Robin Williams op zijn best (en met wat we nu weten over hem, een beetje trieste lading). Anyway, een lach, een traan, en een heleboel heerlijke camp😍

En bonus: hartstikke woke!
