Just saw a very interesting & heartfelt #film about Gay Seniors in #HongKong called "Twilight's Kiss" (or "Suk Suk" -- Uncles).

Seniors are a neglected part of the gay community generally and are virtually invisible in Asian communities, whether here in the US or in Asian countries/territories abroad.

What's different about these older (I hate the word "elderly") #Chinese men is how their sense of cultural responsibility for their families intersects with their sexual identity and how they deal with it in terms of their families and their relationships with other gay men.

They do it with great difficulty and this movie demonstrates how these men choose to sacrifice their individual needs & desires for their families.
