This is such a good idea. Getting people in Ukraine reliable transportation that doesn't need petrol or even electricity.

Hello everyone, We finally received the latest shipment of Bikes for Ukraine - this time from Berlin. Polish truck drivers were blockading the border for a long time so the shipment was delayed but yesterday Mikael was in Dnipro to unload the truck. You can see a short film about it here: https://youtu.be/0oOJ7DOHA9Y These 95 bikes donated by people in Berlin took us over the magical 1000 number. We have now delivered 1000 good, used bikes from Copenhagen, Berlin, Gent and Budapest - to our network of NGOs in Ukraine. It feels good! In the truck, which we shared with the NGO Berlin to Borders, there was also a huge array of humanitarian aid in the form of wheelchairs, walkers, canes, medical beds and... body bags. So sad that this is a reality here and that there is a shortage of body bags in Ukraine. Our work continues and we are happy to be building partnerships with other organisations like the City of Berlin, Berlin to Borders, Libereco.org and Ukrainian NGO Angels of Salvation. We're happy and proud to reach 1000 bikes but this is still just the beginning. Ein dänischer Stadtplaner, der sich für Fahrräder begeistert, liefert den Ukrainern in Europa gespendete gebrauchte Fahrräder, als simples Transportmittel im Krieg, wenn das Benzin knapp wird und Busse und Züge ausfallen.
