While you need SNCB's *international* site to buy a ticket for the train, you can only use the *national* SNCB trip planner to know if the cross border regional train will run or not

👏 SNCB There is a strike tomorrow SNCB's website it tells me to consult SNCB International about disruption to international trains But that *completely forgets* international REGIONAL trains in the list 😡 https://www.b-europe.com/FR/Perturbations I am meant to take Lille-Kortrijk tomorrow, and that is not even listed #CrossBorderRail

And look, the gods know that Belgium can be gleefully dysfunctional and infuriating at times. Look up "Belgian solution" and you'll see what I mean. And the Belgian *government* is so blasé about dysfunctionality that it makes it own jokes about the Belgian government. But underneath it all, there are (some) functioning bureaucracies, and some simple just doing the bloody job, ESPECIALLY if your job is standing up for the underdog and the people in need.
