“Life obliges me to do something, so I paint.” Rene Magritte
In this undated 1965 photo, Rene Magritte toasts his 1958 painting "Force of Circumstance" in the de Menil home in Houston, Texas AP/ Houston Chronicle
'Ne rabotaet'. Artwork I made in 2009 using ArtRage. The writing is in Russian and serves as a reference both to the 'Treachery of Images' by Magritte and to Anthony Burgess' 'Clockwork Orange'. The writing itself has two meanings: 'Out of order' and 'Slacker'. The latter meaning is an in-joke to the life of the artist.
My dear Belgian friend David Merveille. Such a kind person.
He does the most amazing illustrative work. Not just about Hulot. But I advise you to check out his Hulot books (for children and adults!)

1. Season 3, Episode 6 of Dark Winds. Extraordinary. Especially loved its temporal complexity, the Native American language and storytelling, the #Magritte-inspired scenery, and the #Dylan ending, "Knock, Knock, Knockin' on Heaven's Door."
2. My TMJ flare is finally resolving (took about 3 weeks).
3. #Bloomscrolling #roses. More on the way.
