The show must go on! The #guineapigs are another 50 cm closer to Hastings.... #bayeuxtapestry
The #renpy story of the #bayeuxtapestry evolves: How #guineapigs narrate the story of the conquest of England. Since the plot is given by the tapestry, there is not much room for variations. It's too linear... Let's see, if I can make it a bit more interactive later. About 1/3 of the tapestry is in for now
William gathers his army near Hastings. Lots of horses. It is easy to get confused with all the legs... and chain armor... I hate drawing chain armor, in particular with water colors. To many fine details. One line at least gets flooded every time... #bayeuxtapestry #guineapigs

20 meters to go! #bayeuxtapestry #guineapigs.
Scene 12 in the #BayeuxTapestry: William is being notified about the capture of Harold. As mentioned before, scenes 10,11, and 12 are to be read backwards. So William learns about Harold's capture, sends his messengers, and these messengers finally arrive at Wido"s castle.
In this scene (11) of the #BayeuxTapestry we see Williams messenger-#guineapigs
riding towards Belrem. This scene, together with the previous and the following is a bit strange. We have to read them backwards. In Scene 10, we saw the messengers have already arrived. In this scene, they are on the way, and in the next scene (12), we see how William was informed about the capture of Harold. Around the middle of the tapestry, we'll see another bunch of scenes, which are to be read backwards.
Scene 10 of the #BayeuxTapestry. The messengers of William (the Bastard) arrive at Count Wido"s Castle. One of them is obviously named Turold. There a few theories about him. He is one of the very few persons on the Tapestry who is explicitly named. But he is displayed way smaller than all others in this scene (what usually indicates the importance), and he seems mainly responsible for the horses.
A little further in scene 9 of the #BayeuxTapestry we see, that someone listens the conversation between Count Wido and Duke Harold... To Harold's luck, as we'll see later.
