This one here is a bit hard to explain. It is based on an idea of Salvador Dali with the attempt to make it another #guineapigs remake, but it is slightly modified: I did not like the idea of an animal being in flames. Instead, I left out that part intentionally, and inserted a melting watch instead. The drawers... well, blame the Swedish furniture company for them ;-) (btw: I never had issues with their furniture, and have a lot from them!!)...

Oath of the Horatii, after Jaques-Louis David, as usual as #guineapigs variant, Watercolor/Ink on Paper.
'Chasse de danse', after Edgar Degas, #guineapigs edition. Imagine a potatoe-shaped guinea pig performing ballet... Watercolor/Ink on paper.
The #guineapigs version of Pieter Bruegel (t. E.)'s 'The Peasant Wedding'. A nice painting, spreading such a vivid atmosphere. One can almost hear the music and the chatter, and smell the flavor of hay and food. Crawling home in the early morning dawn...
Acrylic on canvas.
The show must go on! The #guineapigs are another 50 cm closer to Hastings.... #bayeuxtapestry
The #renpy story of the #bayeuxtapestry evolves: How #guineapigs narrate the story of the conquest of England. Since the plot is given by the tapestry, there is not much room for variations. It's too linear... Let's see, if I can make it a bit more interactive later. About 1/3 of the tapestry is in for now
Arnolfini Wedding, after Jan van Eyck (anno 1434). As usual this one is the #guineapigs remake. Watercolor on Paper. Fun fact: If you find a hi-res photograph of the original painting on the net (wikipedia or so) and zoom in, you'll find even a portrait of the painter in the mirror in the picture's center.
