My #bayeuxtapestry replica is 54 meters on a roll for now. I use the MALA scrolls from the Swedish furniture company for my work. Each is 30 meters, but I started with a leftover from the kids (15 m). Today, I did the last taping and almost messed it up: These fragile paper rolls became a bit heavy and also distorted slightly due to the use of watercolors. A little glitch of 0.3 degrees might have a huge impact when fully rolled out.. I hope the best.
I just made this for my little #renpy project about the #bayeuxtapestry : The funeral-scene of King Edward. The watercolors have not even dried, when our oldest guinea pig died peacefully in the pen surrounded by her mates. She reached a quite remarkable age, considering all the little diseases she had during her life. And she was quite vivid until her last breath. Rest in peace, Koko, I will miss you! The Queen is dead! Long live the Queen! Buried in the garden. Better than Westminster Abbey.

Today's @pixel_dailies prompt was "farm", and BEHOLD! The field in which I grow my pixels!

...it is actually plentiful and bursting with cool stuff, which kinda ruins the joke but oh well it was a fun one to pixel.

The show must go on! The #guineapigs are another 50 cm closer to Hastings.... #bayeuxtapestry
The #renpy story of the #bayeuxtapestry evolves: How #guineapigs narrate the story of the conquest of England. Since the plot is given by the tapestry, there is not much room for variations. It's too linear... Let's see, if I can make it a bit more interactive later. About 1/3 of the tapestry is in for now
William gathers his army near Hastings. Lots of horses. It is easy to get confused with all the legs... and chain armor... I hate drawing chain armor, in particular with water colors. To many fine details. One line at least gets flooded every time... #bayeuxtapestry #guineapigs

How do you take a 70-metre medieval masterpiece and put it on a 780-square-metre screen? πŸ“œ -> πŸ“Ί
