i gave my bambangan (wild mango) a week to ferment and the result is perfectly putrid π€€
the latex is pretty bad for you so fermenting it makes it easier to peel, with the bonus of it giving a slight boozy punch π
i made a #sambal with it with some homegrown shallots, vegan mock anchovies, and some potent #chilli πΆοΈ i picked up from the market
theyβre endangered unfortunately π and not grown commercially so theyβre under threat to ecosystem loss.
