Ungarn ist ein völlig unterschätztes Reiseland. Vor allem der #Balaton ist toll für Familien mit Kindern. Und preiswert.
Leider tummeln sich dort viel zu viele deutsche Touris, die sich freuen, dass man dort noch Z***schnitzel bestellen kann und meinen, dort dürfe man unbescholten rechten Müll labern. Fahrt hin und überlasst den Rechten und Ewiggestrigen nicht das Feld!

Speaking of ice skating, thanks to the combination of climate change and being in my mid forties, I had thoughts like "I better go skating on Lake Balaton now as I might only have 2-3 chances at most in the rest of my life.

It has thick enough ice once in about every 10 years that's safe for skating or walking nowadays (and likely getting worse unless the Atlantic current collapses earlier than predicted, in which case we will have a lot of ice skating...)
