The #Báb was a merchant of #Shiraz in #Iran who came to believe himself first a prophet, and then a manifestation of God. On #ThisDayInHistory in 1844, late in the night, he wrote a long tafsir to demonstrate his gift of inspiration. His movement laid ground for the #BaháʼíFaith.
