Scavando nel passato dei quattro fondatori e approfondendo certe simbologie, i richiami a certi messaggi sono diventati impossibili da ignorare...

La copertura di Bored Ape è stata così grande nel tempo che persino celebrità come Paris Hilton, Eminem e Shaquille O'Neal ne hanno acquistato dei pezzi, aumentandone il valore sul mercato (il disegno di una singola scimmia vale almeno 200 mila euro). In risposta, ora che il messaggio nascosto è stato decifrato, l'autore spinge l'etichetta #burnbayc sui social per chiedere a chi possiede uno o più pezzi della collezione di bruciarli.
