Tonight at Chicago awesome foundation we heard from 3 previous grant winners -- a short film director making a movie about werewolves, liberation library and their work helping make and distribute a magazine by imprisoned youth, for imprisoned youth, and a woman from the Alzheimer's Foundation of IL who quick turned getting an artist to make an ofrenda for those taken by Alzheimer's and displayed in the national Mexican museum of art.

Putting on my #philanthropy hat, the #nyc chapter of the #AwesomeFoundation just funded Bronx Bound Books, a bookstore on wheels.
