But now, investors and streaming services are opening up the market in African films to an international audience. The Nigerian film scholar Ezinne Ezepue sees this as a great opportunity. Coming full circle since I became a Humboldtian 13 years ago - I'm now attending the Annual Meeting as an Alumna and a Selection Committee Member.
Not to mention that it was at the Annual Meeting in 2011 where I met my partner who is also a Humboldtian. The Foundation opens a lot of doors - career and otherwise!
