LA NOTIZIA: Picierno strappa con Schlein e dice addio al Pd: “La casa dei riformisti non c’è più”

Dopo settimane complicate, la vicepresidente dell’Eurocamera, Pina Picierno, lascia il Pd di Elly Schlein. Una decisione maturata da tempo, le cui ragioni sono state spiegate nel corso di un’intervista rilasciata dall’ormai ex esponente dem a Il Foglio. Qui ha dichiarato che “la casa dei riformisti non c’è più. Non si può essere ambigui con il fascismo putiniano e gli estremismi. È ora di lavorare a qualcosa di nuovo, per vincere le elezioni”.
Secondo quanto apprende l’Ansa, Picierno aderirà al Partito Democratico Europeo, guidato da Sandro Gozi e presente all’Eurocamera nel gruppo Renew.

“Pina Picierno ha avuto il merito di affermare una verità che molti vedono e pochi hanno il coraggio di dire. Non si può essere europeisti a giorni alterni, atlantisti a convenienza o riformisti solo a parole. Abbiamo il dovere di costruire una grande forza europea di governo, che unisca riformisti, liberali, democratici ed ecologisti pragmatici, per rispondere in modo credibile alle sfide del nostro tempo”, afferma Gozi intervenendo sulla decisione della Picierno.
“La guerra in Ucraina, la minaccia delle autocrazie e la competizione globale non aspettano che la sinistra italiana risolva i suoi conflitti identitari: impongono scelte chiare”, aggiunge il segretario del Partito Democratico Europeo.
“Oggi la vera divisione non è tra destra e sinistra, ma tra chi vuole un’Europa davvero potenza, capace di decidere e di agire, e chi continua a inseguire populismi, ambiguità e vecchi riflessi ideologici. Perché l’alternativa è semplice: o l’Europa diventa protagonista del proprio destino, oppure saranno altri a decidere per noi”, conclude Gozi.

After weeks of complications, Vice President of the Eurochamber, Pina Picierno, is leaving the Pd of Elly Schlein. A decision matured over time, whose reasons were explained during an interview released by the former Dem member to Il Foglio. Here she stated that “the home of the reformers no longer exists. One cannot be ambiguous with Putinist fascism and extremism. It’s time to work on something new, to win the elections.”

According to Ansa, Picierno will join the European Democratic Party, led by Sandro Gozi and present in the Eurochamber within the Renew group.

“Pina Picierno has had the merit of stating a truth that many see and few have the courage to say. One cannot be alternately European, Atlanticist at convenience, or reformers only in words. We have a duty to build a great European governing force, which unites reformers, liberals, democrats and pragmatic ecologists, to credibly respond to the challenges of our time,” says Gozi intervening on Picierno’s decision.

“The war in Ukraine, the threat of autocrazies and the global competition do not wait for the Italian left to resolve its identity conflicts: they impose clear choices,” adds the secretary of the European Democratic Party.

“Today the real division is not between right and left, but between those who want a truly powerful Europe, capable of deciding and acting, and those who continue to chase populism, ambiguity and old ideological reflexes. Because the alternative is simple: either Europe becomes the protagonist of its own destiny, or others will decide for us,” concludes Gozi.

Il Fatto Quotidiano: Tutti i miei No alla separazione delle carriere

Al referendum di domenica e lunedì prossimi, voto No ma non già per affiancarmi a questa inguardabile sinistra atlantista e neoliberista e dare un assist alla stessa. Voto No ma non perché credo che il pubblico ministero attuale sia indipendente dall’esecutivo: i pm sono uomini e come tali hanno determinate convinzioni politiche e bene o male le trasferiscono nel loro lavoro, ad esempio decidendo di perseguire certi reati e certi no.
E comunque certi reati già oggi, di fatto, vengono perseguiti ed altri no. L’ho verificato con il movimento No TAV che difendevo: solo gli antagonisti erano brutti e cattivi anche se a pestare erano le forze dell’ordine. Così come ricordo bene tanti anni fa quando Vladimiro Zagrebelsky, allora a capo della Pretura di Torino, emanò una circolare con cui si stilava la priorità nei reati da perseguire e se il reo rientrava in quelli al fondo dell’elenco era pressoché certo di farla franca.

Voto No ma non perché credo che oggi ci sia una reale giustizia. Già oggi le carceri sono piene di poveracci e vuote di ricchi o benestanti, che possono permettersi fior di avvocati capaci di portare i processi avanti fino alla prescrizione. Di fatto esiste oggi una giustizia di classe.
Voto No semplicemente perché credo che in futuro ci sarebbe ancor meno giustizia di oggi. Voto No perché credo che aumenterebbe ancor di più la forbice tra ciò che è legale e ciò che è gusto, ovviamente secondo la mia personale valutazione. Voto no perché la separazione la volevano gente come Berlusconi e Gelli. Voto No per fare qualcosa contro un governo che reprime il dissenso, che vara norme populiste, che salvaguarda i colletti bianchi. Voto No perché voglio essere un po’ infantile e se la riforma la vuole questo governo di fantocci è sbagliata. Voto No perché voglio essere doppiamente infantile e se la separazione delle carriere c’è in Israele e negli Stati Uniti vuol dire che è sbagliata.

And anyway, certain crimes are already being prosecuted today, while others are not. I verified this with the No TAV movement that I defended: only the antagonists were bad and evil, even though it was the police forces that were carrying out the acts. Just as I well remember many years ago when Vladimiro Zagrebelsky, then head of the Turin Prefecture, issued a circular that established the priority of crimes to prosecute, and if the defendant fell into those at the bottom of the list, it was almost certain that he would get away with it.

I will vote No, but not because I believe that there is real justice today. Today, prisons are full of poor people and empty of the rich or wealthy, who can afford a wealth of capable lawyers to bring processes to a conclusion through prescription. In fact, there is already a class justice today.

I will vote No simply because I believe that there would be even less justice in the future than there is today. I will vote No because I believe that the gap between what is legal and what is taste would increase even more, of course according to my personal evaluation. I will vote No because people like Berlusconi and Gelli wanted the separation. I will vote No to do something against a government that represses dissent, that enacts populist rules, that protects white-collar workers. I will vote No because I want to be a little childish and if this government of puppets wants this separation, it is wrong. I will vote No because I want to be doubly childish and if the separation of careers exists in Israel and in the United States, it means it is wrong.
