Bearing in mind that #Werewolf is NOT a game that is in any way to my taste, that could affect my enjoyment of #Gnosia considerably.
In some respects, there’s similarities in premise/set up here to both #TheyWere11 and #AstraLostInSpace but I doubting the sustainability of the premise here across a full season.

Our first role for Kurosawa goes to 2019, when she played Quitterie in #KanataNoAstra. One of several teenagers who suddenly find themselves lost in space, Quitterie's abrasive personality hides a skill in medicine and a desire to actually connect with others. Kurosawa tends not to play more tsundere types, but she uses some of the rougher qualities in her voice to show off the strong sense of life and change in Quitterie's character.
We now jump all the way to 2019 with Kanata in the space-faring adventure #KanataNoAstra. The appointed captain of the Astra, Kanata is a honest, straightfoward man who finds himself in the kinds of complicated situations that only someone like him can solve. Hosoya has some fun playing up the himbo qualities of Kanata while also giving him a grounded center and demonstrating the kind of pain that allows Kanata to keep moving forward.
Kanata no Astra builds in intensity over time, getting its pressure boiler of a cast close enough to the edge while still finding a way to move forward and have them become their own kind of family. The presentation of the series adds to its epic scope, with vivid planetscapes and an intimate-yet-expansive cinematography. Not every plot point works out perfectly, but it overall makes for an enjoyable, empathetic, and exciting voyage.
