Last call for this week’s #AniMangaPictureChallenge. You've got approximately 12 hours before we wrap up this week's #anime and #manga topic.

Remember to use the hashtag #AniMangaFoundIt AND @ @apc to help make sure your entry is seen. If you’ve already submitted something and it hasn't been Liked and Boosted let me know!

@apc This one really ended up being difficult for me as well. However, I did come up with something that is a little more risqué from “A Yuri Story About a Girl Who Insists It's Impossible for Two Girls to Get Together Completely Falling Within 100 Days”. Aya is getting Marika to watch some *ahem* adult movies together in order to help prove that two girls can, in fact, get together.

@apc Well, my "watches" alternate reference merged with a remote control, which is tempting to use, but might as well drop the OG reference for The Kid With the Remote Controlentirely. So today we #AniMangaFoundIt through something so old it's got sponsor messages built right into the OP.

Imagine having to lug this sucker around with you everywhere.

Not even a neck strap. Shotaro Kaneda must be one bulked out 10 year-old under that suit. Dude's holding it steady with just one hand.

Amusingly it is in the English theme that the remote gets immediate prominence, as well as lyric mention.

Also it gets "Gi-gaaaaaAAAAAaaaaan-toooooorrrrr" so

There's that.

A remote control can look like anything, as Brera Stern demonstrates. Usually, he pilots his advanced Guld Works VF-27 Lucifer variable fighter from inside the cockpit... except when he doesn't. In some cases, the cybernetically rebuilt Brera controls his fighter from afar making Brera himself the remote control!

(Actually, I think it's his stupid hair clip as he loses cybernetic control of the fighter in the series and movie when the hair clip is damaged...)

This week's #AniMangaPictureChallenge is "Remote Controls"! This is a really hard one.

And this idea, in my opinion, is not quite close enough for an #AniMangaFoundIt . But I captured the screenshots anyway, so let's post it as an "Also-Ran" or a "Swing-and-a-miss".

In "Magilumiere, Magical Girls Inc.", Magic is not conjured from wands, or drawn into hexes - it's programmed and transmitted to Magical Girls in the field.

During a visit to a conference, an emergency appears and the team at scrappy magical girl start-up Magilumiere need to act fast to neutralize the threat. Enter engineer Nikoyama's laptop - a way to create and send customized magic spells into the field!

The magic can be controlled, uh, remotely.

Close enough?

Remote controls? How about a throw back to *Code Geass* and the Key of Damocles that plays a pivotal role late in the R2 season. @apc #AniMangaFoundIt #anime #CodeGeass

Inko Amifumi and Calm Craftman use a small remote control plane to scout out a powerful enemy mech that's been hunting them and their classmates.

I really like the cool, wrist-strapped remote control screen and joystick Inko uses to fly the plane. I have no idea if this is a real thing hobbyists use, but it looks neat.

Two alternate picks for last week's #AniMangaFoundIt topic of Rivals:

1. Scarlet El Vandimion vs Terenezza Hopkins. Just need one photo for that!

2. Eiko Tsukimi vs Nanami Kuon. These two actually become friends playing street music together before they realize they are actually rivals for the 100,000 Likes Contest. Eiko helps Nanami remember she and her band started playing music for themselves, not the fame or money!

#anime

@apc #animangafoundit I really don't remember much about Unwanted Undead Adventurer, apart from the main character Rentt getting an RC drone near the end of the season. We don't get a super clear shot of the controls in the anime, but the manga comes through like a champ, with a great close up!

This week on the #AniMangaPictureChallenge, we're using:

🕹️ Remote Controls 🎛️

From toy cars, to televisions, to spaceships and giant robots, lots of things across #manga and #anime can be controlled remotely. But we don't want to see the things, we want to see the remotes themselves!

Send pics of your favorite remote controls to @apc using the hashtag #AniMangaFoundIt to help make sure your post is seen.

Send your remote controls by April 12th to make it in to the community collage.
