Video games in #anime span everything from traditional consoles, to phone games and handhelds, all the way to full dive systems where dying in the game means you die in real life!

I'm gonna take a step or two back from that last one, and instead pick the safer round of VR Golf played between Evangeline Burton and Aoi Amawashi.

Even here, Eve's aggressive brute force style vs Aoi's calm and cheerful play leave them both desperate for yet another rematch.

@apc #animangafoundit Videogames are a rich commodity in anime, but one that really stuck in my mind was Hirotaka's addiction to Monster Hunter in Wotakoi: Love Is Hard for Otaku. It's not just notable for the sheer amount of hours he pumps into the game over the course of the show, but also it's a rare example of real game footage being used.

#animangafoundit I have one last bookcase to share from last week's challenge- The bookcases in the school library where Kyotaro and Yamada spend a good deal of their early relationship doesn't feature as much in later chapters as it did at the start of "Dangers In My Heart", but it's still an iconic part of the story.

@cthellis Amusingly, I have never watched Hyouka which led me to theory craft that Shoshimin was going to be about a pair of werewolf-like shapeshifters trying to pass as humans based on its 1st season opening. Oops. :p

But yes, one of the most important scenes involves bookshelves!
