Hmm ... so this blog article has amplified my suspicion and past experience, that the Wayland project is full of elitist ableist asshats (^) ...

First inkling was trying to drive a KDE Wayland system with nothing but a mouse and onscreen keyboard for a friend. had to revert to an older Debian derived OS, and onboard which while hacky and clunky, at least that worked (mostly).

but those with needs greater than the general population are basically being 'Functionally' ignored and excluded by Wayland development practice.

X11 was far from perfect but it was at least inclusive regards the ways and means for a much wider access scope, than just the able bodied.

Seems the long slow death of X11 will result in deliberate shuttering of those who are not as capable.

Just saw Greg Abbot respond to a reporter when asked who was to blame for not issuing the alerts to warn people of the flood. “ pointing fingers is for losers”. I can’t believe he actually has the nerve when Texas has blamed almost every bad thing “liberal democrats”. All the stupid Joe Biden blame that went on during the pandemic.
Once again Texas government let down its people and it killed them.
Twice now Ted would rather be vacationing than looking out for people in Texas.
