#KaguyaSamaLoveIsWar
#Anime
This week on the #AniMangaPictureChallenge, we're looking for:
☎️ Dumb Phones 📞
You can tell when an #anime or #manga was made after 2007 because the "dumb" flip phones and phones with physical keyboards that came in all sorts of shapes and sizes quickly gave away to "smart" touch screen phones, which is kinda a shame!
Show us your favorite dumb phones from the past by @-ing @apc and by using the hashtag #AniMangaFoundIt.
Send your entry by May 24th to be included in the community collage.
This week on the #AniMangaPictureChallenge, we #AniMangaFoundIt our favorite #anime and #manga we experienced... this week.

@apc #AniMangaFoundIt for this week I'd like to recommend Kirio Fan Club. It's an incredibly smart and touching show that presents itself as a wacky romcom only to flip the script and subvert the genre's tropes. A series of funny vignettes take a completely different meaning as the show reveals the inner lives and unspoken history of the characters. It ultimately challenges the viewers' perception and expectations of a teenager life when compared to how it feels from the inside.
@apc Good morning. And, well, I gave you all a chance. But probably there was a 0% ultimate chance I wouldn't cover a certain something here, since it is broadcasting newly this season. (Alas not straight into summer as well, but it's a 2-cour split, so it should be back in the fall.)
It already got two This Weeks before, but those were via the manga. If no one picked up the anime, I just have to make sure to CONVINCE EVERYBODY here!

We of course #AniMangaFoundIt in Akane-banashi, by far the best series WSJ gots, and their most powerful hero.
Time to ride this out.
This week's #AniMangaPictureChallenge ( @apc ) is, well, "This Week".
To absolutely no-one's surprise, I'm going to talk about "Go for It, Nakamura-kun!".
I believe that improved acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community will be helped by "casual" queer representation - where the characters' sexuality or gender identity is just part of an existing formula or plot rather than the central focus of a piece of media. Therefore, I love queer takes on existing tropes.
"Go for It, Nakamura-kun!" is the gay equivalent of the "Hopelessly unrequited love" / "Awkward & cringeworthy teenage crush" show.
It's simultaneously hilarious, heartwarming, awkward, and relatable - and I love the styling of the animation, which throws back to 90s/00s style, with some banger retro pop EDs.
I'm gonna go ahead a pick what is almost certainly a common favorite for this season: Witch Hat Atelier.
With charming characters, an intriguing world, and standout animation, this #anime has somehow managed to hold its own against the very best magical shows from the past and present.
Being able to say this deserves to be listed alongside greats like Little Witch Academia and widespread anime of the year winner Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is high praise indeed!
