HMS Seahorse: Suffered a fatal injury after falling at the final hurdle on Wednesday.
Envoi Allen: The 10-time Grade One winner collapsed and died after finishing the Gold Cup on Friday.
Saint Le Fort: Died following a separate incident on Gold Cup Friday

Human supremacist/speciesist/carnist thought patterns are shockingly similar to fascist ones, you can't be principally against fascism but then pro carnism
In both fascism and carnism there is mentality of:
-Survival of the strongest & most violent (its a kill or be killed world if we didnt do it some other species would have evolved and done it to us)
-Pseuodoscientific classifications of who "feels and thinks more authentically"
-Collaboration with capital to create a systematised killing machine (the nazis took inspiration from factory farms and all the death camps killed non humans too, but the allies didnt free those, only the humans)
-Mocking disregard for the rights and freedoms regarded as other "chickens? with rights?? lol"
-Objectification/Deindividualisation of those regarded as other "a pig is a pig and all pigs are the same"
-Normalisation of violence as a necessary part of life, fascists always paint themself as the victim even as they are mass killing
-Criminalisation of those trying to free the victims (A.L.F. AnimalRising, various undercover farm footage takers)
-Axiomatic deference to the moral superiority of the ingroup ("Human interests always come first", "I'm an unapologetic speciesist", I've even been called a traitor to the human race)
-Sexualisation of the other (generally fascists sexualise those they oppress because they get off on the domination, this I believe is the same reason farm animals like cows and pigs and horses and sexualised its about control)
-Infantilisation of the other ("They would be lost without us", "they have one bad day", "I love my animals on my farm", these attitudes mirror how fascists treat women in particular but fascists also infantilise men in a roundabout way by feeding their insecurities)

It is because Juries can make a decision based on moral judgement. Such a thing happened today where 5 members of #AnimalRising were acquitted for causing a public nuisance at the ##GrandNational 2003 meeting because they successfully convinced the jury that #horseracing caused:
"Needless suffering"
This now means that NO horse meeting is MORALLY ACCEPTABLE

Grote steun studenten in Zeeland voor 100 % plantaardig voedselaanbod
Studenten van University College Roosevelt in het Zeeuwse Middelburg voeren een milieucampagne, waarin ze pleiten voor 100% plantaardige evenementen. Uit de enquête van deze week blijkt dat bijna 70% van de medewerkers en studenten de verandering naar een duurzamer voedselsysteem steunt.
Op steeds meer studentenevenementen is het aanbod al volledig plantaardig, zo hebben belangrijke evenementen zoals het herfstfestival, de kerstmarkt, liefdadigheids- en kerstgala’s die zich dit jaar al aangesloten.
Klimaatrechtvaardigheid
Stel iedereen eet plantaardig en de import van veevoer komt tot stilstand, wat zou dat voor ons land betekenen? Strootman Landschapsarchitecten onderzocht dit samen met de Universiteit Leiden. De Van Eesteren-Fluck en Van Lohuizen Stichting selecteerde het onderzoeksvoorstel uit een groot aantal inzendingen en financierde het. Centrale thema’s in het ontwerpende onderzoek zijn klimaatrechtvaardigheid en ruimtegebruik. Het is een denkoefening, geen plan. Het onderzoek laat zien dat minder vlees en zuivel veel oplevert. Namelijk meer ruimte voor natuur, ontspanning, klimaat, biodiversiteit, en meer rechtvaardigheid. Het ruimtevraagstuk, in Nederland zo pregnant, blijkt gekoppeld te zijn aan onze keuzes voor dieet en productiemethoden.
Uit het onderzoek blijkt dat binnen onze landsgrenzen op natuurinclusieve wijze een gezond, volledig plantaardig dieet kan worden geproduceerd voor 20 miljoen Nederlanders. Dan blijft er nog steeds ruimte over voor diverse maatschappelijke ambities, zoals het halen van natuurdoelen, verbeteren van de landschappelijke kwaliteit, opvangen van de bevolkingsgroei en het vergroenen van de stad. We krijgen mooiere landschappen, schonere lucht, bodem en water. Een omslag levert winst op voor klimaatrechtvaardigheid, dieren(welzijn), mensen (gezonder!) en voor de economie! Want om antwoord te krijgen op de vraag wat een transformatie betekent voor de economie heeft econoom Max van der Sleen een Maatschappelijke Kosten-Baten-Analyse (MKBA) gemaakt. Zijn conclusie: Nederland-Veganland heeft de potentie om de Nederlandse economie over een periode van 20-25 jaar zo op en om te bouwen dat de Brede Welvaart in Nederland toeneemt.
Klimaatverandering
David Shaw, een van de campagnevoerders zegt: ‘Het is geweldig om te zien hoe gepassioneerd de UCR-gemeenschap is. Onze campagne gaat verder dan alleen het voedselaanbod; het is een statement over de ernst van klimaatverandering. We kijken uit naar samenwerking met de universiteit om dit werkelijkheid te maken.’
Ook dr. Inez Flameling van University College Roosevelt ondersteunt de campagne: ‘Minder vlees, eieren en zuivel eten is het beste wat we allemaal kunnen doen om de klimaatcrisis af te wenden.’
Deze campagne is onderdeel van het grotere Plant-Based Universities-netwerk, dat bestaat uit campagnes op 80 universiteiten in Europa. De Plant-Based Universities campagne heeft al op 12 universiteiten successen geboekt, waaronder Cambridge en de Universiteit van Graz.
Omschakeling
Onderzoek toont aan dat door in Nederland over te stappen naar een volledig plantaardig voedselsysteem, er 41% minder landbouwgrond nodig zou zijn in binnen en buitenland. Daardoor zouden we onze natuurdoelen kunnen halen, schonere lucht krijgen en de bevolkingsgroei goed op kunnen vangen. Een wereldwijde omschakeling zou maar 25% van de huidige landbouwgrond gebruiken, aanzienlijk minder water en tegen lagere kosten.
Plant-Based Universities, een campagne van Animal Rising, is een internationaal initiatief van studenten die pleiten voor 100% plantaardige catering op hun universiteiten. De groep stelt dat universiteiten de verantwoordelijkheid hebben om de klimaatwetenschap te volgen, die duidelijk de negatieve gevolgen van de veeteelt en visserij weergeeft. De campagne is actief in meer dan 80 universiteiten, met op elke universiteit een lokaal team gestart door gedreven studenten.

This short videos introduces Charlie, a pig rescued from the "RSPCA Assured" scheme for factory farms. It's wonderful to see Charlie rescued, but that's just one pig. There are still thousands and thousands locked away that we aren't seeing.
We shouldn't be using animals and should prevent cruelty to them, which is in the RSPCA name!
In a recent UK poll, 36% believe there is no kind way to farm animals and that the RSPCA should support a transition towards a plant-based future.
