Agi: Scherma, l'Italia vince quattro medaglie in Coppa

AGI - È di quattro medaglie, due individuali e due a squadre, il bilancio delle squadre italiane nella Coppa del mondo di scherma. A Budapest in Ungheria in occasione del fine settimana dedicato alla sciabola, l'Italia ha conquistato l'argento con Matteo Neri sconfitto in finale dall'americano William Morrill per 15-13.
Coppa di spada
Ad Astana in Kazakistan, in occasione della Coppa di spada, argento per la squadra maschile e bronzo per quella femminile. Due medaglie andate ad unirsi al bronzo nell'individuale di Alberta Santuccio.
Matteo Galassi, Davide Di Veroli, Andrea Santarelli e Simone Mencarelli, dopo aver sconfitto nei turni precedenti, India, Corea del Sud, Svizzera e Giappone, in finale sono stati battuti dalla Francia per 45 a 44. Giulia Rizzi, Santuccio, Rossella Fiamingo e Lucrezia Paulis nella sfida per il terzo posto hanno superato 32 a 31 le transalpine.

Fencing World Cup - Italy secured four medals, two individual and two team, in the Fencing World Cup. In Budapest, Hungary, during the weekend dedicated to the foil, Italy won silver with Matteo Neri defeated in the final by American William Morrill for 15-13.

Foil Cup - Silver for the men’s team and bronze for the women’s team in Astana, Kazakhstan, during the Foil Cup. Two medals joined the bronze in the individual event by Alberta Santuccio.
