I bought an Apple Watch four years ago, and while it's been useful in some ways, I'm not at all sure it's worth paying for a replacement when it breaks or is ended by Apple.

For the next month or so, I'm going back to my trusty analog watch. It's powered kinetically. Even after more than four years in a drawer, I put it on and it started ticking after I moved my arm regularly for a few moments.

We'll see how the next month goes.

Been needing a new watch for a long time. Thought about spending on a Smart Watch and trying to keep track of the data it would gather.

But recently I have had a need to disconnect from how absolutely digitally I live my life.

So I started looking at older Analog Watches. The kind I used to wear when I was a kid in the 90s. Maybe something more heavy duty these days.

Its just time and no additional information. And really, is all that constant information gathering a good thing anyways?
