I bought an Apple Watch four years ago, and while it's been useful in some ways, I'm not at all sure it's worth paying for a replacement when it breaks or is ended by Apple.

For the next month or so, I'm going back to my trusty analog watch. It's powered kinetically. Even after more than four years in a drawer, I put it on and it started ticking after I moved my arm regularly for a few moments.

We'll see how the next month goes.
