Ever since #Breitling acquired #UniversalGeneve 2 years ago and especially since they relaunched them a few weeks ago, the price of vintage Polerouter has gone quite crazy. I tried this Polerouter Date last week and passed on the opportunity. I still like the design but I honestly don’t think these are worth their price anymore. #watches #watchesofmastodon

Yesterday I visited a #Tudor AD and tried the new Monarch announced at #WatchesAndWonders2026. Sharp case shape is somewhat reminiscent of recent King Seiko. It is definitely different from most #watches they have made and it is in a very weird position, almost competing with the Royal. I am not a big fan of the 39mm size and the Californian dial either. #watchesofmastodon

*Seiko Metronome SMW006A*
Had a concert yesterday, and I wore the only watch I have that is _truly_ a tool watch for me. This video shows moving from time to metronome mode, and a few changes of tempo on the metronome. Not demo'ed is the tone generator ("pitch pipe"), but you can see the markings for it between the 10 and 2 indices.

#Cartier has so many case shapes in their archive that they just keep bringing them back from time to time.
