In an age of #enshittification I was surprised by my 9 year old #Fossil Q #smartwatch.
It uses coin batteries replaced every 5 to 6 months so it hasn't become unusable due to battery age.
A few years ago Fossil replaced the app but still supported this model despite it being "unsupported".
I checked and in the last month the app has not used any data - my watch has communicated with my phone but my data remained only for my use.
